Most PC users are satisfied with any default appearance that comes with their computer and/or parts. But some of them go all out to customize, starting with lighting or shell color, and then to fully customized artwork. Except for some RGB lights here and there, the graphics card itself is usually not part of it. However, Colorful's latest RTX graphics card design is designed to allow you to be creative.

One of Colorful's cooler designs is already flatter and more spacious than other RTX models, avoiding the use of molded plastic to get a simple square appearance, and adopts a unique fan design that sucks in air through the large opening of the PCB itself. The new "custom" card takes advantage of this, and its backplane design can be easily removed via a magnetic mechanism. Each new card (currently available in 3060, 3060 Ti and 3070) has two back panels in the box: one brushed aluminum and one pure white.

Most importantly, they come with a pair of anime-style vinyl decals that can be attached to them. There are fairly simple geometric figures on the backplane, so it is easy to design your own substitutes, print them out, and paste them there. The front of the card may not be very interesting (especially because it has a large cutout for a fully exposed heat sink and auxiliary fan), but it has a unique pearlescent purple-green finish. An LED light extends along the border and can be customized in the iGame Center application.

Colorful cards are harder to find in the US than alternatives such as Asus, MSI or Gigabyte, even before supply chain problems, the cryptocurrency boom, and reselling bastard scalpers brought unprecedented shortages. Even so, for PC gamers who like to use hardware to make art, the customized product line may be worth tracking. They tend to appear on Newegg.
